I specialize in family, maternity, and newborn photography in Virginia Beach, creating images that feel romantic, emotive, and genuine. My goal is for your photos to look beautiful, but more importantly, I want you to look back on them years from now and remember exactly how this season felt.

Krystal O'Hara Photography was born from my own season of motherhood. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much deeper. Photographing other families became my way of preserving the kinds of moments I knew I'd never want to forget with my own.
I value connection over perfection, always. My work is rooted in creating space for families to slow down, be themselves, and let the real moments unfold naturally. I believe the best images come from trust, comfort, and being present with the people you love!

My husband and I absolutely LOVEEEEED working with Krystal! Not only is she super friendly, but as someone who hates taking pictures she made it so fun and had poses and positioned my husband and I. She’s super sweet and flexible with your needs and constantly hypes you up during your shoot (I needed this as someone who gets insecure in front of a camera). She made the whole day so special for us! We did the bump to baby bundle and are super excited to share our special moments with her!
